The most difficult search for Wines under the Radar is finding white wines of distinction – wines of high quality and good value. Of course, half the fun is doing the research and when we come across a white wine that fits the bill, we definitely want to pass it on.
The Andrea Felici Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi 2017 hits on all cylinders and is worth seeking out. Straw yellow in color. The aromas are very explosive, expressive, and enticing with high pitched lemon, herbs and almond. This is a medium bodied white with great texture on the mouthfeel. The flavors are rich and combine citrus fruit and herbs. Well-balanced and with good acidity, this wine would pair well with pasta primavera or light seafood fare. All this for about $15……really!
