Beautiful evening for a salad of homegrown arugala, local strawberries, walnuts, and parmesan all on top of a bed of Prosciutto di Parma. The only white wine I had in mind was this terrific little gem from the Piedmont region of Italy.
The Ferrando Erbaluce di Caluso ‘Terrazza’ 2018 is light yellow/straw in color. The wine has wonderful aromatics that include orange zest and herbs. Medium to full bodied with lots of flavors that are so well balanced it was hard to resist not opening a second bottle. At less than $20, why not!
