A Wines Under the Radar From the Cellar selection was ready for an appearance this past Sunday and it did not disappoint. The Ghislaine Barthod Chambolle Musigny 1er Cru ‘Les Charmes’ 2002 was purity in a glass. Dark cherry in color, the wine had gorgeous aromas of dried red fruit with cool spice and a distinct licorice note. On the palate, the wine expressed deep dark cherry fruit, some earth and cedar notes. Impeccable.
