Never too cold for a Rosé in my book. Although, I drank this beauty while the weather was still fairly fall like in temperature, I find myself writing about on the first real cold day of 2019. While the majority of the Rosé I have consumed this year has been from European origin, I find myself enamored by this delightful little entry.
The Ryme Aglianico Rosé ‘Heringer Vineyard’ 2018 hails from the Clarksburg region (AVA) of California. It lies in the Sacramento River Delta southwest of Sacramento and just west of the Lodi AVA. The wine itself was a beautiful copper color with aromatics of strawberry along with tangerine notes. Very appealing. On the palate the wine had delicate fruit flavors, minerality, and a good dose of acidity. This wine paired perfectly with my oven roasted salmon. It had a bright and seamless finish and weighed in at a whopping 11.1%. A rosie little Wines Under the Radar!
